Whether you are opening a medical supply company, adding a location or shipping to patients in other states, we prepare your Medicare enrollment, your accreditation survey and every state license you need, in the order CMS requires. Your authorized official signs; we do the rest.
Published prices, from a $149 readiness review to state licenses at $699 per state. We never sell equipment or surety bonds.
Accreditation is annual from 2026, and it comes before the 855S. DMEPOS enrollment in the order CMS requires →
We map the states you ship to and what each requires for your products, check your accreditation scope and your location against the 30 supplier standards, and look at your bond, insurance and ownership. You get the order of operations in writing. $149, credited toward your first package.
We prepare each state license for your owner or officer to sign, ready you for the accreditation survey, and prepare the 855S. Once your authorized official approves us as a PECOS surrogate, we enter and submit it; your official signs. We prepare you for the site visit and follow every application to a decision.
Accreditation is annual now, revalidation comes every three years and state licenses renew on their own dates. We keep one calendar for all of them and prepare each one before it is due.
29 jurisdictions show a verified DME supplier license, permit or registration. Pick a state for its out-of-state rules, fees, renewal and staffing requirements.
DMEPOS suppliers: medical supply companies, home medical equipment companies, pharmacies that supply equipment, O&P practices and mail-order suppliers of CGMs, pumps, catheters, ostomy supplies and braces. Commercial payer networks are handled by our sister team at whiteglovecredentialing.com.
No, unless you are exempt. Non-exempt suppliers must be accredited before they submit the 855S, and the enrollment contractors will not process an application without it. The order CMS requires.
Your authorized official signs the 855S certification, and your owner or officer signs each state application. We prepare everything and, for Medicare, enter and submit it in PECOS once your official approves us as a surrogate. You keep your own logins and PINs.
No. We gather the documents your own licensed surety agent needs and track the bond for every location, but we sell neither bonds nor equipment and take no commissions.
It depends on what you sell and where you ship. Some states have a dedicated DME or HME license, others use a pharmacy board permit, and some, like Texas, have no general supplier license. Alabama and Indiana require a location in the state. Look up a state.
Accreditation became annual, new locations must be surveyed before they are accredited, and a majority ownership change within 36 months of enrollment now means a new enrollment and new accreditation.
Every state license required for the items they would furnish, current in PECOS by the close of the bid window. Round 2028 has one nationwide remote item delivery area, so mail-order suppliers need licenses in many states at once.
No, and nobody honestly can. CMS screens new suppliers as high risk, with a site visit and fingerprints, and each state decides its own license. What we control is a complete file, built in the right order.
White Glove DME takes the paperwork out of becoming and staying a Medicare DMEPOS supplier. We prepare the 855S and its evidence, ready you for an unannounced accreditation survey, and prepare every state license your products and shipping need. Your authorized official signs; we track everything to a decision.
The rules moved in 2026. Accreditation is now annual, new locations are surveyed before they are accredited, a majority sale within 36 months of enrollment means a new enrollment, and Round 2028 bidders need every state license in PECOS by the close of the bid window. So we check the order of operations before you pay a fee.
We do not sell equipment or surety bonds. When a payer network is the next step, our White Glove Credentialing sister team handles it.
An enrollment out of order has real costs: a location that cannot bill, a license missing from PECOS, a survey that finds a gap.
12 months
how often a DMEPOS supplier is now resurveyed and reaccredited
From January 1, 2026 accreditation is annual, not every three years. Every supplier now needs to be ready for an unannounced survey all year.
79,360
approved DMEPOS supplier enrollments in 2025, down 8.3% since 2023
Every one of them is enrolled location by location, revalidates every three years and holds every state license its products need.
36 months
after enrollment, a majority sale means a new enrollment
Buy a majority of a supplier within 36 months of its enrollment and billing privileges do not carry over: the buyer enrolls as a new supplier, with new accreditation.
"Becoming a Medicare supplier looks like one form. In practice it is a chain: state licenses before accreditation, accreditation before the 855S, a bond for every location, a site visit, then a survey every year and a revalidation every three. Any broken link stops billing. We built White Glove DME to hold that whole chain so suppliers do not have to."
